Tom McEllistrim, our dedicated Facilities Manager at NYU in London, recently uncovered his 2012 GSH training records – offering a nostalgic look back to his early days as an HVAC Engineer.

Starting his career with us in 2005 as GSH’s only apprentice in London at the time, Tom’s journey reflects the strong bonds and lasting careers we build with our employees. GSH Celebrates By Giving Back!

This year GSH is celebrating our 130th anniversary, and to mark this incredible milestone we’re hosting a variety of activities throughout 2025. This Easter, two of our Directors Guy Busfield and Mark Jenkins delivered 130 chocolate Easter Eggs to three charities close to our hearts – The Trussell Trust, Young Lives vs Cancer, and LoveOliver.

Inclusion is not asking others to fit into a mold but celebrating what makes each person rich. Let us make the difference a strength and not a weakness. Autism, like any singularity, is not an obstacle but another way of seeing the world, understanding it, and enriching it.

What if, instead of excluding those who do not fit into the “norms”, we made the norms an exclusion? Let’s open doors, change perspectives, and build together a world where everyone has their place.
