PARSIPPANY, NJ – GSH Group, globally-recognized Integrated Facilities Management provider, has announced achieving carbon neutrality for 2023, independently assessed and verified by Carbon Footprint Ltd. This news marks GSH’s third consecutive year as a carbon neutral organization.
Since 2018, GSH has been voluntarily collecting emissions data and calculating its carbon footprint to combat the facilities management industry’s carbon outputs. As a result, GSH can monitor its progress to assess and implement subsequent reduction strategies – hoping to become carbon negative by 2025. GSH has offset its unavoidable emissions through Verified Carbon Standard (VCS) projects in India, where GSH has been operating since 2012.
“GSH will continue to strive to reduce our emissions and the effects our operations have on the environment,” stated Mark Thomas, GSH CEO.
