The environment and sustainable engineering have been an ever-growing focus for companies around the world. At GSH, we partner with our clients to develop innovative solutions to improve energy efficiency and reduce the carbon footprint of the facilities we work with. Our work with an India-based food processor is a prime example, where GSH transformed organic waste created during food processing into a combustible fuel supplement to burn alongside coal. When burned with the coal, the supplement burned more efficiently, which reduced overall emissions and coal consumption, while utilizing refuse that otherwise would have been carted away from the processing plant.

Tis the season for college basketball and the March Madness tournament! GSH’s own Joe Annino and Alberto Giannecchini attended the BOMA Oakland/East Bay March Madness Member Mixer. The event yielded a sellout crowd and was the perfect evening for gathering together to network and watch the games/brackets unfold!

In today’s Facilities Management industry, there is inherent value in discovering great, young talent in the engineering field with the ever-growing demand for aspiring trades professionals. GSH’s Ken Cadorin, Joe Annino, and Alberto Giannecchini attended the Spring 2022 Career Fair at California State University Maritime Academy in Vallejo, CA.
Our Bay Area leadership met with students to talk about the industry and joining our talented engineering and facility management team upon graduation. There was a great turnout at the event and a good time was had by all!

Privately owned, GSH Group delivers facilities management services across a diverse portfolio of industrial, commercial, government and private real estate. The acquisition of Team Q supports the group’s ambitions to achieve significant growth and enhance service delivery in the UK.
Now part of the GSH Group, Team Q will continue to operate autonomously with the existing leadership team delivering intelligent maintenance solutions including scheduled maintenance, 24/7 reactive support, project services, asset management and compliance services to businesses throughout the UK. Team Q now has access to significant GSH Group resource and support functions including cutting-edge sustainability and energy management services to expand the breadth of FM services at the highest service levels.
GSH Group has been delivering customised FM services for 127 years. Services include integrated facilities management, technical operations, sustainability, and energy consulting. The company employs over 4,500 staff and is currently headquartered out of New Jersey with offices throughout North America, Asia and Europe. GSH maintains a dedicated engineering division which spearheads ground-breaking projects in energy management and waste-to-biofuel initiatives.

Rob will be joining us on the East Coast with a focus on expanding our regional operations. With over twenty years in the industry, Rob possesses a wealth of knowledge and experience in Facilities Management and Mechanical Engineering. He is also an active and engaging member of Building Owners & Managers Association (BOMA) of Philadelphia serving as Co-Chair of the Engineering Committee as well as serving on the Membership and Associate Members committees.
