GSH is excited to announce our new addition to our Southern California team!

GSH employed Thor Emblem Jr. as our Regional Director of Operations for San Diego, California. Thor will be based out of our San Diego office located at 9655 Granite Ridge Dr., Suite 200 San Diego, CA 92123.

Thor has over 25 years of professional experience in the field of building maintenance and construction in public and private sectors for mechanical maintenance and operations contracts. His experience includes accountability, quality control, HVAC operation and maintenance, computerized preventive maintenance, and service call systems. In addition, Thor is an experienced manager overseeing about 100 employees for more than 45 customer locations.

Thor has certificates in Business Management and HVAC Design from the University of California San Diego extended studies program, where he is a two-time design award winner. He also holds a B and a C-20 Contractors License, a BOC Level 1 Building Operators Certification, along with numerous trade and technical certificates. Thor currently serves as the Past President for the San Diego Building Engineers Association and is the treasurer for the BOMA San Diego chapter.
