GSH considers the safety of our employees and our customers to be of primary importance.

Being part of the GSH Group of companies comes with the responsibility of putting the care and protection of our employees, clients, facilities and the environment as a first priority.

To achieve our goal of a safe workplace, GSH has developed and implemented a comprehensive environmental health and safety program. This program relies on employee and management commitment and involvement to ensure a safe and healthy workplace.

Our focus is on the recognition and correction of hazards, elimination of injuries/illnesses and damage to equipment and property, while protecting the environment and the general public whenever they may be affected by the company´s work.

To meet the goals of providing a safe and healthy workplace, we employ various tools including site-specific program development, training for project management, supervisory personnel and contractors, site-specific and compliance requirements and standards, progress meetings, contractor program review and site safety appraisals.

All field staff must have proper health and safety training before reporting to work. All operational managers are required to complete formal OSHA training.

Employees are given a copy of the GSH Health and Safety Handbook which is revisited by GSH regularly to ensure it is updated with the latest changes in legislation.
