GSH hires high-caliber facilities professionals and we are committed to providing continuous training and development to improve the skills and competence of our entire workforce in the focused delivery of services to our clients. The purpose of training is to ensure that all employees are given the necessary tools to develop the knowledge, skills and attitude that they require to carry out their jobs efficiently and to provide every opportunity for career development.
We provide our professionals with multiple avenues to expand their skills, one of which is GSH´s internal program developed by our own training staff. A sampling of courses developed consists of an induction and orientation program to introduce our new employees to our company vision, mission, philosophy, and culture, safety courses, and management training.
GSH also encourages our employees to continue their professional development by our tuition refund program which reimburses employees for completed job-related courses and training. Our managers receive ongoing human relations and business practice training. Skills assessment and development for our technical staff is accomplished through the use of the training modules.
All managers are responsible for the continual monitoring of staff training and development throughout the year through the performance review procedure and to provide the necessary assistance and encouragement to ensure that objectives are met, procedures are followed and that staff fulfillment needs are being achieved.
