GSH Group, Inc. to Host Energy Efficiency Seminar

On Oct. 20 in New Jersey and Oct. 22 in New York City; Discussion to Focus on Cost-Efficient Energy Management for Commercial Buildings

GSH Group, Inc., an international building engineering and energy management provider throughout the United States and Europe, will host an energy efficiency seminar targeted to real estate owners and managers on Tuesday, Oct. 20 at One Garret Mountain Plaza, Woodland Park, N.J., which is owned by affiliates of Meritage Properties LLC and Mountain Development Corp. and is managed by Mountain Development Corp.; Thursday, Oct. 22 at 1560 Broadway in Times Square, New York, N.Y., which is owned by Newmark Holdings and managed by Newmark Knight Frank.

The seminar, which will be held from 9 a.m. to noon, will include keynote speaker, Dr. Bernard Palowitch, Jr., Founder of CEO of Not Hot Industries, LLC. Palowitch, a Certified Energy Manager, has 25 years of consulting and project management experience and holds a Doctor of Science degree in chemical engineering. Other speakers will include GSH Group´s Frankie McDonald, assistant vice president and head of GSH´s energy program, and Ross Forman, GSH´s senior vice president.

During this educational seminar, the team will discuss a wide range of energy solutions for commercial/retail buildings. Topics to be discussed include market trends, energy management systems, financing alternatives for energy projects including state rebates, case studies, and Energy Star accreditation.

GSH Group will provide details on New Jersey´s statewide energy incentives, the SmartStart Buildings Pay for Performance (P4P) program. Also included in the seminar will be information on the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority.
