History

GSH has more than 110 years of engineering experience.

GSH Group, Inc. was founded in 1895 by George Scarr Hall (GSH), the grandfather of the current owner, Ian Scarr Hall. GSH began as a small engineering business based in Stoke-on-Trent, England serving the pottery industry.

The company thrived during the first half of the century, surviving two World Wars and the Great Depression. GSH had become known throughout the UK and several European countries for its high-quality facilities maintenance services.

In 1996, GSH opened its US business, headquartered in Northern New Jersey. Today, GSH provides facilities services across the US´s Atlantic coastline, in the United Kingdom, and Mainland Europe.

GSH employs 2,000 people globally; delivering the highest level of service on a local, national and international level. Throughout the years, GSH has developed a wealth of industry-specific knowledge and experience.

GSH provides facilities solutions individually designed to meet each client´s requirements, allowing clear focus on core business activities. All GSH branches adopted, implemented and maintain ISO 9001 quality approved systems.
