New Deputy Chair reveals hopes for BIFM
The newly appointed Deputy Chairman of the BIFM and Group Director for Safety, Health and Environment for GSH Group plc, Robert Greenfield, has said that his ultimate goal is to take the BIFM forward, past the current medium term strategy.
His overall responsibilities will be to support new BIFM Chairman Ian Murray and the BIFM Chief Executive Officer in the day to day running of the Institute and the delivery of the new medium term strategy.
Robert will begin his two-year term from 1st July and will work alongside Dave Wilson.
Robert Greenfield said: "I am honoured to have been elected as Deputy Chairman of the BIFM and will aspire to help to meet the BIFM's objectives and act in the best interest of the Institute and to ensure proper engagement between the BIFM and its members and also with the corporates.
"FMs have a huge role to play in sustainability and health and safety and I will ensure that they have access to quality guidance and best practice."
