All Terrain Capability
The GSH branded Toyota Hilux trucks will enable engineers to reach client installations located off the beaten trAck in some of the remotest parts of the country.
This investment reflects the strong growth in the Telecommunications sector, which has a considerable portfolio of difficult to access power and antennae installations critical to their business. GSH now oversees around 15,000 such locations making it one of the clear leaders in the field.
The introduction of these 4wd vehicles is a proactive initiative to ensure the GSH standard in customer service excellence is provided to all GSH customers and to show the importance of an efficient response service. This has been the primary consideration of the Telecommunication client.
The vehicles are able to carry several technicians together with the testing and maintenance equipment they will need to carry out their roles and are the ideal solution for increasing employee mobility and productivity beyond the tarmac roads.
Colin Tennent, CEO at GSH comments: 2It is important that all our customers are provided with the same level of service regardless of location and our commitment to ensure business critical functions are maintained remains resolute. These new vehicles are extremely capable and agile, and will offer safe, reliable and ruggedised transport for our highly skilled engineers out in the field.
