Maxwell Segal, Group Technology and Innovations Director, GSH Group plc, comments, "By running one central system of customer data, we gain a more robust system with more comprehensive data control."
Segal continues, "We are also using IBM Maximo Service Provider to manage our mobile work force as we have 600 mobile engineers that are connected in real-time to the IBM Maximo solution. This provides efficient data sharing across the organization and a direct link to our vehicle tracking system, which we believe is another first across the facilities management industry. This unique system gives us enhanced control over our operations allowing us to deliver further benefits to our clients including reduced response times and optimized mobile support. We are confident that the IBM Maximo Service Provider software solution is enabling us to maintain our leading position in our sector."
Rebecca Sinnatt, IBM Maximo Sales Manager, comments, "The GSH Group is the first facilities management company in the industry to use a single system such as IBM Maximo Service Provider. The system can hold a number of different customer contracts in one central system, and this shows that GSH Group is using their IT capabilities for strategic benefit. They are leading the way in their approach by reducing overhead, and benefiting their customer base through the transparency of the system."
