GSH SCOOPS NATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY AWARD

GSH, the leading provider of technology driven facilities and energy management solutions, has scooped one of the prestigious RoSPA Occupational Health & Safety Awards.

The Gold Award recognises the company´s commitment to protecting the health and well-being of employees, customers and the general public.

GSH will be presented with the award at a ceremony at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel in May, which will take place alongside Safety & Health Expo 2010, Europe´s leading annual health and safety exhibition.

David Leese, Head of Health & Safety at GSH commented: “We operate a strict policy to ensure that all undertakings are carried out to an exceptionally high level, meeting all health and safety requirements. It is of paramount importance to us, so we have a dedicated team responsible for carrying out stringent auditing and reporting procedures to ensure that standards are adhered to and that best practice is achieved.”

As well as there being clear ethical and legal requirements for good health and safety management, there is also a strong business case. In addition to the RoSPA award GSH have been awarded the GOLD H&S standard by their client Astra Zeneca for the second year in succession, the award will be presented by Astra Zeneca´s Global SH&E manager in April.
