GSH wins Abbey energy contract
International facilities and energy management service provider GSH Group plc has been awarded a contract by leading bank and mortgage and savings provider Abbey to provide energy management services.
The energy contract covers approximately 700 of Abbey's sites throughout the UK, Northern Ireland and Scotland.
The award comes following the high level of service and strong working relationship established by GSH with Abbey, through their existing contract covering all hard FM services across their entire retail portfolio.
Dave Anscomb, Abbey's Head of Retail Facilities and Security Management, said: "The innovative approach that GSH have to energy reduction and consumption really impressed us and played a major part in our decision to award them the contract. We look forward to making substantial savings as well as meeting our environmental objectives, thanks to GSH."
Neil Fright, GSH Energy and Controls Director, said: "We are pleased to be in a position to utilise our engineering expertise to help Abbey save money and energy, especially at a time when tackling climate change is such an important issue, whilst further enhancing our relationship."
