Multi-Million Pound Contract Win for GSH Group
GSH Group has won a multi-million pound contract with National Australia Group, securing the international facilities and energy management specialist's position as a leading provider of FM services in the high street.
The Group will self-deliver mechanical and electrical work, fabric work and energy management across the whole Yorkshire and Clydesdale Bank portfolio, some 450 high street branches, head office properties and business-critical data centres located right across the UK.
Recognised as a market-leader in the application of technology to effectively manage energy use for clients, the energy management element of the contract will see GSH working with the Yorkshire and Clydesdale Bank teams to lower their energy consumption across the board.
A number of GSH "Smartboxes" will be sited at various locations which will enable GSH to monitor remotely energy consumption and to manage it appropriately to considerably reduce the amounts of energy used.
This works particularly well with the mechanical and electrical elements of the contract, creating a natural synergy where GSH will be able to control how the buildings are run and maintained, securing even more energy savings for the client.
Neil Murray, Managing Director of GSH UK, said: "We are delighted to have secured this significant contract with the National Australia Group, awarded through United Group Services (Europe) Limited.
"The scope of the contract reflects our expertise in the facilities management industry and is recognition of the growing reputation for excellence that we have earned as an expert in the field of energy management.
