ASTRAZENECA AWARDS NEW CONTRACT TO GSH GROUP

AstraZeneca has awarded a three-year facilities management contract to GSH Group.

Under the agreement, GSH Group will provide building and maintenance services at the global pharmaceutical company´s Charnwood site in Loughborough, including mechanical and electrical engineering, air conditioning, building fabric maintenance and environmental services.

AstraZeneca selected GSH Group following a competitive tender process, which saw GSH Group demonstrate its wide range of facilities management capabilities together with a culture of delivering cost and service delivery benefits through innovation and partnering. The Charnwood site is focused on finding new medicines for respiratory and inflammatory diseases. 

This latest deal brings the number of AstraZeneca locations maintained by GSH Group to 14, including the company´s London Global Headquarters, UKMC Sales and Marketing facility and National Distribution Centre. GSH Group has worked closely with AstraZeneca to maximise service delivery, whilst achieving significant initial and progressive cost savings across the existing portfolio of sites.
